I got so sick this weekend I didn’t even remember to post! But I love posting and don’t think I am getting tired of this already !
I am finally feeling better, so today I want to talk about mother’s day. Last Sunday was mother’s day in Portugal. My amazing mom spent the night before mother’s day, holding mine and my brothers head as we vomited. She spent the night taking care of both of us at the same time. No sleep what so ever and if we even took just a deep breath she would get up and make sure we were okay. As terrible as it is, this is part of a mother’s job. It is the best and most difficult job in the world. This reminded me that moms are what keeps us alive, and I make sure she knows how important she is.
It’s hurts me that some people have no respect for the one that put them into this world, and took care of them when they couldn’t do it by themselves. She fed you and made sure you are someone worthy, even if she wasn’t the best mom, she showed you what not to become.
My mom fought hard, she was mom and dad, she taught us how to be responsible, honest people, while cleaning our mess, feeding us, and putting up with our BS, having to deal with all the problems at the time, without loosing her mind. Do you have any idea how hard that is?
She is human, and she will make mistakes, but before you even think about judging her, remember that, without her, you wouldn’t even exist.
After reading this, call you mom and thank her for existing and doing everything she does, every single day.
